The limit of compressibility of today's modern high-pressure presses with the advent of the HDP technology (HIGH-DENXITY-PRESS) has moved the standard weight limit of 400-500kg to an extreme figure of over 750kg. This is due to the fact that today's pressing technology allows to compress the harvested material significantly tighter. In our conditions, we are mainly talking about hay and straw harvest.
The most common dimensions of the pressing chambre range from 90 to 120cm (width) and from 50 to 130cm (heigth). These measures predetermine the size of the bale for the subsequent logistics of transporting the bales from the field to the stacks or to warehouses.
The length of the bale from 200 to 320cm is adjustable according to the wishes and needs of the customer. For the pressing of these bales we recommend our premium line of the MASTER twine with the ultimate tensile and knot strength.
